THERREX™ BOARD: FITNESS AND PHYSICAL THERAPY IMPROVED
What sets the TherRexTM Board apart is the football shape of the base, which no other balance board has! It treats balance functionally and allows for full ankle range of motion without having to get off the board. The football shape also allows for two different intensities of exercise when using the corresponding handles in different positions. Another feature unique to the TherRexTM Board are the stops which have a flat edge and allow for easy mounting/dismounting of the TherRexTM Board. The stops also protect your fingers by preventing pinch points when using the two pairs of handles. These patented features make it the best and most versatile balance board to help you reach your goals.
Balance training has been shown to enhance athletic performance and decrease risk of major and minor injuries alike, such as: ACL tear, Achilles tendon injury, hip bursitis, low back pain, groin pull, ankle sprain, and hamstring strain. The patented football shape of the TherRex™ Balance Board mimics your body’s natural movement pattern, allowing for complete range of motion to keep you in peak condition and help prevent injury before it happens.
Surrounding the base of the board are 2 pairs of handles, allowing for the board to be used in the seated and prone positions. Lateral to each handle is a flat edge stop that prevents fingers from being pinched and allows for easy mounting / dismounting of the board.
The patented shape of The TherRex™ Balance Board allows the user to exercise their ankle in the position which ankle sprains occur, activating the target muscles up to 100% of maximal muscle contraction. Strengthening the ankle in this position, can prevent injury in the future.
The core muscles provide stability during movement and transfer energy from the torso to the limbs. A stronger core will produce more efficient movement patterns and get you performing at your best! Use the TherRex™ Balance Board to maximize your performance. Each pair of handles corresponds to a different arc of the football shape, when an exercise becomes too easy turn the board 90 degrees for an even greater challenge!
